TALK ON ‘INDIA’S SECURITY THREATS AND ROLE OF NCC IN WAR’
A talk on ‘India’s Security Threats and Role of NCC During War’ was given by Col P P Kishore during the CATC organized by 63 UP Battalion NCC. The talk highlighted on the growing threats to the Nation from adversaries as also non state actors from across our borders. The Nation needs to be strong to deter any power in the world to take advantage of. The speaker emphasised that be NCC could play a significant role in any crisis, giving the examples from the past wars where the NCC was used as a second line of defence.
The fact that NCC could also aid in sensitising the civil populace and reduce be obvious anxiety during times of war was impressed upon to the cadets, There was a very active participation from all cadets with a very lively question – answer session. Such events could go a long way in enhancing the horizon of the cadets who as youth of the nation could transform into admirable leaders in times to come.
