National Award winning movie producer Onir’s film “Shab” is set to be screened at the Indian Film Festival of Sydney. It will also be screened at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne in August.Exceptional movies on human connections are always been Onir’s speciality.
Planning to present the film in film festivals
Sharing his excitement, Onir said : “I am looking forward to present our film the Indian Film Festival Melbourne. Furthermore at Indian Film Festival of Sydney.”
In addition Onir shares that he will be attendeding the screening with actress Juhi Chawala. Another most note worthy confirmation is that Raveena Tandon and Ashish Bisht will also be attending the screening. Australia-based actor Raj Suri, who is also a part of the “Shab”, will also attend the screening.
Makers of Shab hosted special screening of the film in Mumbai recently. Bollywood celebritries like Divya Dutta, Anant Mahadevan, Sanjay Suri, Onir and Ashish Bisht attended the screening.
About “Shab”
- Set in Delhi, the romance-drama is a story of people coming from different walks of life. Some in the search for love and some towards the realisation of their dreams.
- It is the story of a coffee shop girl Rainaand the man who loves her Afzar an aspiring model.
- Sonal (Raveena Tandon) is a fashion patron who in addition becomes his mentor.
- The film centers around their intense human relationship in terms love, hurt and power.
- Into their lives comes in Benoit (Simon Frenay) a French expat who teaches French in Delhi.
